Casting Call: Lead Actor for Upcoming Feature Film

Job Detail: We are in pre-production for an exciting new feature film and are seeking a lead male actor to portray a complex and compelling character with a commanding onscreen presence. This challenging role is of a serial killer, which will demand a strong understanding of character development and a nuanced performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the character’s background, motives, and psychological profile.
  • Collaborate with the director and writer to bring the character to life in a way that is truthful and impactful.
  • Participate in rehearsals as scheduled to develop character dynamics and interactions.
  • Be available for all filming dates, prepared to perform intense and demanding scenes.
  • Maintain a high level of performance consistency throughout the filming process.

Requirements:

  • Gender: Male
  • Ethnicity: Caucasian
  • Height: 6’4” or taller, with a strong preference for individuals between 6’7” – 6’9”.
  • Strong acting skills with the ability to convey a range of emotions and a depth of character.
  • Previous experience in film or theater preferred, but not required.
  • Must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role.
  • Ability to take direction and adapt performance as needed.
  • Professional attitude and reliability.

Compensation:

Casting Call: Paid SAG Stand-Ins

Project Type: SAG Contracted Series (Permissible during the strike)

Job Details: We are currently seeking Paid SAG Stand-Ins for an upcoming project. The series falls under the SAG contract for projects that can be worked on during the strike period.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as stand-ins for lead actors during set preparation and lighting adjustments.
  • Mimic the physical characteristics, movements, and actions of the lead actors to ensure accurate camera setup.
  • Collaborate closely with the director of photography and camera crew to maintain the desired visual continuity.
  • Be punctual and available for the specified work day (Wed, Oct 25th).
  • Follow all instructions provided by the production team.

Requirements:
