We are currently casting for several speaking roles in an upcoming project, with a quick turnaround and an audition required. This shoot will take place in Orlando, and we are looking for talented individuals who can memorize lines quickly or use a teleprompter effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for local talent to showcase their skills in a paid speaking role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform in a speaking role for a project, delivering lines with accuracy and expression.
  • Memorize lines or effectively use a teleprompter as needed during the shoot.
  • Follow direction from the production team and collaborate with other cast members to ensure a smooth performance.
  • Be available and punctual on the day of the shoot.

Casting Breakdown:

  1. Male, Caucasian, 20-something, sassy but easy-going, competitive, with a bit of a sarcastic edge. Must have a local Southern accent (Mobile, AL).
  2. Female, Hispanic, early 30s, articulate and straightforward, industrious, left-brainer, technical. Character is slightly problematic, dealing with attention deficit issues.
  3. Male, African American, early 20s, cheerful, gamer, fitness enthusiast, light-hearted.

Requirements:

  • Must be available for the shoot in Orlando (local hire only, no travel or hotel provided).
  • Ability to memorize lines quickly or use a teleprompter efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction.
  • Prior acting experience is preferred but not required if you have strong memorization skills.

Compensation:

  • Participate in the filming of a horror-themed project, bringing your unique abilities to life on screen.
  • Engage in scenes that highlight the strengths and challenges associated with your abilities, contributing to a powerful and inclusive narrative.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure your portrayal is respectful and true to your experience.
  • Collaborate with other participants to create a cohesive and impactful horror experience.
