Casting Call: Non-Speaking Role for TV Project

Job Description: Jina Jay Casting (JJC) is looking for a talented actor or performing artist to portray a 22-27 year old character who resembles actor Paul Giamatti during his younger years (22-27). This non-speaking role is for a confidential British Equity TV project. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable looking into the camera and remaining very still, almost like a statue.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in rehearsals and the shoot, maintaining a professional and punctual demeanor.

• Portray the character by looking directly into the camera and holding a very still, statue-like pose.

• Follow the director’s instructions precisely to ensure the desired on-screen effect.

• Maintain the physical appearance necessary for the role throughout the duration of the shoot.

Requirements:

• Age: 22-27 years old.

• Resemblance to a young Paul Giamatti.

• Ability to remain still and comfortable in front of the camera.

• No previous acting experience required; however, actors with representation should not apply as this role has been released via Spotlight breakdown to agents.

• Must be available for rehearsals during the week commencing June 24th and for the shoot between July 1st and July 21st, 2024.

• Must reside in the UK, ideally within the M25/Greater London area.

• Must have a British passport or the right to work in the UK.

• Any accent is acceptable as the role does not require speaking.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
