The Director, Partnership Business Development will be responsible for generating revenue opportunities through traditional and non-traditional partnerships that impact in-stadium signage, intellectual property rights, community programs, experiential activations, digital/social media (including branded content), television, radio, hospitality, in their existing network of contacts, and cold calling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establishing new corporate partnerships and potentially assisting in renewing existing accounts to meet annual revenue goals.

· Achieving established individual and team sales goals and budgets set by team management.

· Effectively prospecting local, regional and national companies for qualified sales leads and calling on executive-level decision-makers for new business opportunities

· Maintaining and reporting weekly sales/prospecting activity utilizing KORE

· Communicating with the Partnership Development team to ensure proper transition of closed partnerships

· Hosting and entertaining prospective and current clients in suite & hospitality areas on gamedays and other non-gameday events

· Effectively working with Strategic Solutions to provide accurate KPI’s and goals of prospects in order to build out proper sales materials and custom proposals

· Developing business relationships with brand leaders to create sustained, multi-year partnerships

  • Identify key open categories and new categories as prospective new business leads
  • Conduct emails and calls to set meetings with new potential partners
  • Other duties as may be assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of sales experience in sports and/or media business industry.

· Los Angeles market experience preferred

· Experience and business network with brands and agencies

· Strong prospecting and project management skills

· Proven revenue generator with rolodex of industry contacts.

· Prior experience with CRM system for management of sales pipelines

· Effective verbal, written and presentation skills

· Ability to interact with people of all different levels and backgrounds in a team environment

· Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in deadline-driven environment.

· Flexible schedule (able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed).

Overview

The Los Angeles Chargers are seeking an experienced Manager to join our team of talented entertainment & event professionals working together to create innovative experiences for Chargers and NFL fans alike.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of entertainment and event production to include:

· Develop and produce pregame, halftime, and in-game live entertainment for all Chargers home games.

· Create production schedules and event timelines for pregame, halftime, and in-game live entertainment.

· Liaison with venue and site service personnel. Participate in site visits and the development of event layouts.

· Coordinate event logistics such as staff and performer transportation, hospitality, catering, and production supplies.

· Coordinate with vendors regarding budget management, contracts, and production logistics.

· Supervise load-in/load-out of special event crews, vendors, sponsors, and performers.

· Organize and manage inventory control, shipping & receiving and production supplies as indicated.

· Work collaboratively with Corporate & Community Partnerships, Ticket Operations, Communications, Marketing and Content & Production departments to ensure all departmental considerations are engaged.

Required Qualifications

· 3 years’ experience in the professional entertainment, event and/or hospitality industry (or equivalent industry requiring similar skills).

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

· Demonstrated knowledge of entertainment and event production dynamics.

· Ability to multi-task, manage simultaneous requests and deadlines, and perform in fast-paced environments.

· Self-starter with attention to detail who can manage projects and initiatives independently.

· Possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and proficiency with computer technology, Microsoft Office preferred.

DESCRIPTION

The Social Media Producer will ideate, produce, execute and publish social first content for the Chargers platforms with an emphasis on internet trends, memes and vertical video. We are looking for someone deeply online with a passion for pushing the boundaries and thinking of new, fun and strategic ways to connect with and build our audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pitch, plan, create and publish content for Chargers social media platforms including but not limited to: Memes, Vertical Video (TikTok, Reels), Promotional / Sponsored Content, Real-time reactionary content, Game and event coverage
  • Demonstrate creativity and be a thought and idea leader
  • Lead content ideation around TikTok and Reels strategy
  • Collaborate with the video production team on social first video concepts
  • Monitor news and social media to identify what is trending in sports and relevant pop culture
  • Work gamedays with an emphasis on editing real time content in the Chargers voice
  • Optimize new and existing content for best performance on social platforms (TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
  • 2+ years experience in social media content creation

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Deep knowledge of TikTok / Reels style editing and curation
  • Very Online: constantly on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit
  • Understanding of trends, memes, viral content and popular culture
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Well versed in football and the NFL
  • Ability to think fast and execute quickly

Expected Annual Starting Base Salary: $60,000-75,000
