Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Low Rider (Age 22-55): Seeking Hispanic or mixed ethnicity males. Must be real drivers, owning a vehicle is a plus. The ideal candidate will embody an old school, well-groomed rider aesthetic.

2. Female Low Riders (Age 18-55): Hispanic or mixed ethnicity females. Real vehicle owners should submit photos of their vehicle along with their application.

3. Hal “Truck Driver” (Age 28-40): Seeking Black, Indigenous, or Hispanic males. Applicants must be real truck drivers with a current US CDL and should be upbeat, with a penchant for singing along to the radio.

4. Female Truck Drivers (Age 18+): Open to African American, Hispanic, or Indigenous females with a valid CDL.

5. Family: Casting for a Hispanic, Indigenous, or mixed ethnicity family on a road trip. Roles include Dad (40-49), Mom (38-45), Grandma (60-75), Teen Girl (13-15), and Boy (9-11). Preference for real families or related family members who enjoy singing together.

6. Gas Station Employee (Age 21-25): Male or female, alternative appearance with tattoos, piercings, or unusual hair encouraged to apply.

7. Teen at Gas Station (Age 13-14): Male or female with skater, goth, or alternative looks.

Requirements:

• Must be available on the dates of shooting and for mandatory callbacks if selected.
• Real vehicle ownership or CDL as specified per role.
• Comfort with performance activities (e.g., driving, singing).

Compensation:

• Adults: $750 per day plus a buyout.
• Children: $450 per day plus a buyout.

Casting Call: Co-Star Role in a Short Film “Glass”

Story Quest is excited to announce a casting call for the co-star role of “Henry” in the upcoming short film “Glass,” written and executive produced by Danny Martha, a renowned member of the Sixty-Six Theatre Company in Los Angeles. Danny Martha’s distinguished career includes working on critically acclaimed theatre productions such as “Sweat,” “For the Loyal,” “Icarus’ Mother,” and “The Seagull.” His film credits include the successful “The Original Shareholder Experience” by Petyr Xyst, which was featured at Sundance Film Festival events.

Role Overview:

• Character Name: Henry

• Age Range: Approximately 50 years old

• Character Traits: Henry is an ex-inmate who has now become a rough, rugged homeless man. Despite his intimidating exterior, he has a caring heart. His life experiences and past mistakes have shaped him into who he is. This character plays a pivotal role in influencing the life of a young man freshly released from prison.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character of Henry with depth and authenticity, reflecting his background and personality.

• Collaborate closely with the director and fellow actors to bring the script to life.

• Participate in rehearsals and adhere to the filming schedule.

• Contribute to the creative process by providing insights into the character.

Requirements:

• Male actor around 50 years of age.

• Strong acting skills, capable of expressing a range of emotions.

• Ability to portray a complex character with a troubled past convincingly.

• Previous acting experience in film or theater is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must be available for the entire duration of the shooting schedule in Los Angeles.

• This is a non-union production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the role of a professional based on your real-life occupation.
• Collaborate with the film’s director and crew to understand the vision and direction for your character.
• Participate in costume fittings, makeup sessions, and other pre-filming preparations.
• Be available for filming on scheduled dates and times.

Requirements:

• Must be based in or able to commute to the Albuquerque area.
• No acting experience is required.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a flexible schedule for filming.
• Must be comfortable being on camera and taking direction.

Compensation:
