About the Project:

We are thrilled to announce a casting call for “The Bondsman,” an upcoming series produced by Blumhouse in collaboration with Amazon / MGM Studios. This gripping series will delve into the depths of personal sacrifice, secret missions, and the relentless pursuit of justice, set against the backdrop of a male-dominated world.

Role Description:

[MIDGE] is an Asian woman in her Mid-30s to Mid-40s. She embodies the weary yet unyielding spirit of someone who has learned the tough lessons of resilience and determination in a world not designed for her to succeed. While Midge might appear unassuming at first glance, she possesses a quiet strength and an understated gravitas, marking her as a secret emissary with a critical role. This character is a testament to the silent warriors among us, showcasing the blend of vulnerability and indomitable will. We are looking for an actor who can bring depth, nuance, and authenticity to this complex role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the director and writing team to bring the character of Midge to life, understanding her motivations, strengths, and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in rehearsals as scheduled to develop a deep understanding of the character and storyline.
• Deliver performances that convey the character’s internal and external journeys across the series.
• Engage in promotional activities as required, including but not limited to interviews, photo shoots, and press events.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and dedication throughout the shoot, contributing to a positive and collaborative set environment.

Requirements:

• Female actor of Asian descent, aged mid-30s to mid-40s.
• Strong acting skills with the ability to portray depth, subtlety, and complexity of character.
• Experience in television or film preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
• Must be available for the entire shooting schedule from late February to the end of May 2024 in and around Atlanta, GA.
• Non-binary and transgender actors are encouraged to submit.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay, commensurate with experience and role requirements.
• Travel and accommodation (if applicable) will be provided for the duration of the shoot.
• Health and safety measures will be strictly adhered to on set in compliance with industry and legal standards.

Casting Call for Feature Film: ‘Wolf Man’

Job Detail: Blumhouse Productions is seeking talented young actresses to fill the role of [GINGER] for our upcoming feature film, “Wolf Man.” This is a supporting lead role that requires a strong and smart performer who can bring depth and authenticity to the character.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character [GINGER], a 10-year-old girl with a precocious and strong spirit.
• Participate in rehearsals and take direction from the film’s director to ensure the character’s portrayal aligns with the creative vision.

Requirements:

• Female, 9-11 years old, self-identifying as white.
• Must resemble a character who is 10 years old, smart, precocious, and emotionally strong.
• Must be comfortable with the possibility of intense emotional scenes, as the character deals with family challenges.
• A valid passport is required for location shooting.
• Must be available for the entire filming schedule in New Zealand from March to May 2024.
