Overview:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Project Manager, Store Design, to join the Global Visual Merchandising and Store Planning team, based out of its New York City (Soho) headquarters.

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the development of freestanding stores in the United States and Canada, collaborating with the global store design team, various departments, consultants, and contractors for new store projects and renovations. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, schedules, and design from initiation to opening. The PM also coordinates store layout improvement rollouts, supervising store configurations and upgrades. They collaborate closely with departments and consulting teams, ensuring program requirements are integrated, and critical timelines are communicated. The PM ensures quality standards are met within set timelines and budgets for each location’s construction and completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate relationships with tenant coordinators and mall managers across various locations
  • Coordinate the transition of design documents into bid/permit-ready formats with the architect of record
  • Review all architectural documents with the VP of Store Planning & Facilities.
  • Run requirements for security, telephone, and data in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Obtain approvals from landlord for preliminary and working drawing reviews
  • Generate and manage bid requests for both General Contractor (GC) scope and owner vendor items, providing support to the global director of procurement throughout the entire RFP process
  • Review and coordinate bid proposals, ensuring alignment with schedules and costs
  • Maintain project cost summaries, approving invoices and collaborating closely with the cost controller
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure both compliance with standards and adherence to the schedule and design standards.
  • Coordinate with GC and local building departments for certificates and inspections
  • Collaborate with global store design, visual merchandising, retail, and operations for store openings
  • Develop punch lists and ensure timely correction of identified issues
  • Obtain letters of lien waivers and comply with landlord’s closeout procedures.
  • Create and issue Maintenance Manuals for store managers.
  • Support the director of global store design and cost controller in multi-project budgeting for departmental CAPEX forecasting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of luxury retail experience
  • University degree (BA/MA) in Architecture or Interior Design preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
  • Strong budgeting and math skills
  • Deadline-oriented with a keen understanding of design drawings and project documentation
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of standard quality materials in construction and millwork
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and focusing abilities
  • Frequent travel is a requirement

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:

The compensation for this position ranges from $115,000-$120,000(annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. OVERVIEW:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Design Director to join the Jewelry team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.

The Design Director – Jewelry will work closely with the Head of Design as well as cross-functional team partners in Product Development and Merchandising providing the design and technical direction to advance the Jewelry line for Marc Jacobs, Heaven by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs Runway and off-price. We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects across different brands.

Our ideal candidate has stellar organization skills, great attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES – DESIGN:

  • Lead the team at all stages of the design process, aligning with the design calendar for multiple deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product delivered is brand appropriate while meeting business requirements, customer needs and margin goals.
  • Ensure a balanced seasonal design offering with innovation, newness, and commerciality, while preserving brand identity.
  • Organize and prioritize the jewelry team’s workload, ensuring preparation for meetings and adherence to calendar timelines.
  • Participate in all research and concept meetings; leading sketch and protos review.
  • Demonstrate a vast knowledge of jewelry design techniques to deliver novel ideas aligned with Marc Jacobs identity.
  • Foster collaboration with other Design teams for cohesive storytelling and commercial viability.
  • Supervise technical specifications and approve 3D renderings, partnering with Product Development and Production for commercial viability.
  • Have a broad understanding of jewelry techniques and execution to work across different materials and deliver novel designs aligned with the Marc Jacobs identity.
  • Partner with Head of RTW and Head of LG on occasional RTW trim and hardware needs for cross category animations.

RUNWAY RESPONSIBILITIES – DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Innovate new techniques and work with a hands-on approach to build prototypes and mock-ups in the studio.
  • Apply technical expertise when working with ateliers in order to achieve Marc’s vision.
  • Craft jewelry with European partners in France and Italy.
  • Lead the seasonal calendar and budget for all protos, runway and PR samples.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art or Fashion
  • 10+ years of experience in jewelry design, with expertise and technical knowledge in the field
  • Broad understanding of jewelry techniques and materials from a design and product development perspective
  • Experience with Asian and European factories and ateliers.
  • Proficient in both digital and hand sketching techniques.
  • Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent taste level and brand awareness
  • Strong sense of color, fashion, product, and trend knowledge.
  • Able to development and track product from start to finish.
  • Able to maintain calendar, budget and margin.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Director, Media Data & Performance – Americas

Location: New York, NY

LVMH Media is looking for a Media Data and Performance Director to lead the media contribution to the omnichannel and data roadmap of the LVMH Group in the Americas. Partnering closely with the Digital & IT teams in the region, this individual will drive media data ownership and utilization; reinforce digital media accountability and measurement; and represent the Americas region in developing and implementing the Group’s Media Data & Omnichannel roadmap.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of digital & performance media and their contribution to full-funnel media strategies. They should demonstrate expertise in building relationships with internal partners, agencies, consultants, publishers, and platforms. We are looking for a natural diplomat who nurtures relationships across all levels of a global, highly matrixed organization and who can provide authoritative thought leadership across all levels of the organization. They will report to the SVP Media – Americas, based in New York City, and will have functional accountability to the Global Data & Performance Media Director, based in Paris.

Responsibilities

1. Drive media data governance, ownership and utilization.

  • Ensure ownership and portability of Maisons’ media campaign data with agency and specialty partners; work with Group and regional Legal departments to ensure local data privacy elements are respected, as per global guidelines.
  • Provide ad tech consulting, supporting the harmonization of media data collection, account organization, and technical set up for the Group and the Maisons.

2. Reinforce digital media accountability and measurement.

  • Deploy the global KPI framework with agencies for media measurement to ensure real-time campaign performance metrics are delivered at Group and Maison level.
  • Work with global & local Media and Research teams on measures beyond media performance KPIs, notably digital media’s contribution on brand equity and business performance metrics.
  • Partner with HQ and agencies to develop best in class analytics support through data monitoring and dashboarding solutions in collaboration with the digital data department (ad centric and site centric analytics).

3. Bring data-driven media expertise to the Group omnichannel roadmap.

  • Support the Maisons by providing tools and training to ensure strong performance media strategies, notably through search, social, affiliation, and advanced traffic acquisition.
  • Support the Maisons in developing personalized advertising experiences through data leverage, working in partnership with the Brand and Image Department, the Digital and Data department, and the Consumer Research department on programmatic framework, DCO and Audience Optimization.
  • Identify innovation opportunities and anticipate trends in the region; analyze impact and provide POVs for the Group.
  • Drive collaboration through performance, analytics and data workstreams with the Omnichannel and IT departments in North America and at HQ.

4. Provide thought leadership and data education.

  • Partner with agencies to provide industry intelligence and develop best practice cases to drive change and competitive advantage.
  • Set the agenda for the Agency organization around performance and data capabilities and ensure that Agency partners are working collaboratively to anticipate and inform the Maisons about data and performance trends.
  • Lead data and performance media education (programmatic, social, SEM, affiliate) for the Maisons; partner with the HQ team on the development and deployment of the Digital Media Academy in the Americas.
  • Work as specialist support to internal Media teams in the region to accelerate their education and agility in the fast-moving data and performance landscape.

Profile

  • Minimum 10 years media experience, with a strong background in digital and performance media, campaign measurement and analytics, data governance & utilization, and AdTech/MarTech platforms. Agency or consulting experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with media activation in social platforms, programmatic DSPs, search, and affiliate marketing, and strong relationships and knowledge of key media platforms & publishers and tech partners.
  • Digitally fluent, with the ability to translate sophisticated and technical media concepts into clear and useful language. Strong technical knowledge and experience planning/parleying cross-channel partnerships.
  • Demonstrate a passion and understanding of the luxury category.
  • Exceptional relationship builder with a strong service orientation and proven record to influence others; a reputation for flexibility and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized; able to prioritize and lead multiple simultaneous projects and manage complex relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and remotely, entrepreneurial, and upbeat with a genuine curiosity about media, retail, and luxury ecosystems. Experience in the luxury goods, retail, and/or CPG is a plus.
