Real Talk Docuseries – LGBTQ+ Community Casting Call
Job Details:
The California Department of Health (CDPH) is embarking on an important sexual health campaign titled “Real Talk.” This docuseries aims to illuminate crucial aspects of sexual health, fostering open conversations, and dispelling stigmas surrounding sexual health issues. We are currently seeking real people from the LGBTQ+ community in the Greater Los Angeles area to be featured in this groundbreaking campaign.
Job Responsibilities:
Selected participants will have the unique opportunity to share their authentic, personal experiences related to sexual health. The docuseries will focus on the following topics:

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs):
- Prevention methods
- Personal experiences with exposure
- Treatment journeys

HIV:
- PrEP or PEP usage experiences
- Personal experiences with exposure
- Treatment narratives

Sexual Health Vaccination:
- Experiences with Meningitis, Hepatitis, HPV vaccinations
- Insights into the importance of sexual health immunization

Doxy-PEP:
- Personal experiences with Doxy-PEP for STI prevention
Requirements:
- Must be a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Reside in the Greater Los Angeles area.
- Open and willing to share personal experiences related to sexual health.
- Must have experiences in at least one of the mentioned categories (STIs, HIV, Sexual Health Vaccination, Doxy-PEP).
- Must be comfortable appearing on camera.
Compensation:
Selected participants will be compensated fairly for their time and contribution to this important campaign. Compensation details will be discussed individually with chosen participants.
