Top Gun 2 is coming soon!
Tom Cruise announced on the Australian morning show Sunrise that an upcoming Top Gun sequel is coming soon. While promoting his new movie Mummy movie, Cruise broke the news.
“Yes, it’s true. It’s true,” responded Cruise. “You know what? I’m going to start filming it probably in the next year,” explained the action-movie star. “It is definitely happening.”
Tom Cruise has never been shy about a second Top Gun movie. Last year, Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer took a photo together sharing that they were discussing the film.

This news comes after Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise’s co-star in the movie, shared some amazing advice to aspiring actors.
“Work till you cry yourself to sleep every night for months on end,” Kilmer explained. “Work so hard you pass out and wake up crying. Become a world class athlete. Read Shakespeare every day to learn about human nature. EVERY DAY. FOR DECADES. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever take a day off. And never complain. It’s the best job on earth and worth it when you break through. They say Dustin Hoffman couldn’t act his way out of a paper bag, and I knew Kevin Spacey since he was like 15 and he was sooooooooooo bad it used to hurt my eyes. But boy did he work hard and deserves all his awards.”
