Netflix’s The Get Down season 2 is now casting teen actors in New York City.
Netflix’s hit TV series The Get Down is now casting teen actors to work on an episode filming in New York City. Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for African American and Hispanic men and women ages 18 to 32 to play teenagers. Producers are looking for talent that have 1970’s style hair. Talent must be attend a fitting on Wednesday, September 28th in NYC and filming will take place between Monday, October 3rd through Wednesday, October 5th.
About The Get Down:
“The Get Down” centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excessive crime rate and corruption. According to Variety, “The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.
