Are you a real DJ?
Netflix’s The Get Down is looking for real DJs to work on the hit TV series in New York City. Producers are looking for African American men ages 18 to 30, who are a real DJ, to work on the hit TV series. Filming will take place between September 26th through September 30th in New York City.
About The Get Down:
“The Get Down” centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excessive crime rate and corruption. According to Variety, “The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.

Seeking SAG-AFTRA or NON UNION African American Men 18-30yrs old REAL DJs for The Netflix hit series The Get Down.
Shoot Date: sometime between 9/26-9/30.
Rate: $250/8hrs
