AMAZON TV pilot The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is now casting beatnik types in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for men and women to play 1950’s beatnik types on the new Amazon pilot, “THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL”. Filming will take place between September, 27th and October 14th in NYC.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel centers around a housewife in the 1950s decides to become a standup comic.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Casting Call

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking SAG-AFTRA or NON UNION Men and Women to portray 1950s BEATNIK TYPES on the new Amazon pilot, “THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL”. All ethnicity and ages 18-90. Work dates are TBD (sometime between 9/27 & 10/14) in the TRI-STATE area.

Please email pilots@gwcnyc.com with CURRENT (need to see current hairstyle & color), CANDID pictures. Please include name, phone#, sag-aftra or non union and ALL wardrobe sizes (Men:height, weight, jacket, neck, sleeve, waist, inseam and shoe. Women: height, dress, pants, bust, waist, hips and shoe sizes). Subject line should say “FACEBOOK BEATNIKS”

Please note since this is a period show: everyone must be comfortable working around smoke. No wool allergies. Men must be comfortable receiving a 1950s haircut from our hair dept IF NEEDED and must be comfortable being clean shaven IF ASKED. Women must have natural hair colors only.

PAID GIG! SAG-AFTRA rates apply to SAG-AFTRA members and non union rate is $140/12hrs.
