IFC’s Documentary Now is now casting speaking roles in Los Angeles, California.

Looking for your next audition? If so, IFC’s hit TV series Documentary Now is now casting a dayplayer role that shoots on July 7th in Los Angeles, California. Casting directors are looking for real actors that can speak Indonesian and perfect english. Here’s the casting breakdown:

  • MALE, INDONESIAN, 60’s – He is part of the Balinese Gamelan ensemble that performs with Test Pattern on a couple tracks a la Ladysmith Black Mambazo on Paul Simon’s Graceland. He sits in on an interview with the band and, when asked a question but the documentarian, the lead singer replies for him that he doesn’t speak English, but he totally does (and without an accent)

Documentary Now! lovingly parodies some of the world’s best-known documentaries. Starring Fred Armisen and Bill Hader, each episode is shot in a different style of documentary filmmaking, and honors some of the most important stories that didn’t actually happen.
