James Franco and HBO’s new series The Deuce is now casting featured roles in New York City.
James Franco’s new HBO series The Deuce is looking for actors, models, and talent to work on an episode filming in New York City. Casting directors are looking for Asian actors to play Korean male waiters. Filming will take place between June 9th through June 15th in NYC.
In addition, casting directors are looking for “unattractive” guys to play gay bar patrons for a scene filming on June 22nd in NYC.
Also, producers are looking for men and women to work on a nude photo shoot for the HBO series. Photos will be polaroids or stills that will be used in the show for props or set dressing purposes. Talents must feel comfortable with appearing fully nude in the photos. The photo shoot is scheduled for June 9th in New York City.
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. JamesFranco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

Seeking men and women (age range 20s-30s) for nude still photo shoot in the style of 1971 for the HBO drama series THE DEUCE (from David Simon, creator of THE WIRE). Photos will be polaroids or stills (magazine covers, etc…) that will be used in the show for props or set dressing purposes. (Not SAG-AFTRA covered background work, but accepting SAG-AFTRA and NonUnion submissions.) Everyone should feel comfortable appearing fully nude in the photos. Tentatively scheduled work date is 6/9 in NYC.
Men’s hair should be appropriate for 1971: at least 1.5 inches in length. NO buzzcuts, fades, dreadlocks, modern styles.
Women should have hair mid-neck or longer. No modern cuts or unnatural coloring.
NO tattoos or distinct scars or markings anywhere on your body.
Seeking natural looking body types (not surgically enhanced or muscular physiques). Natural body hair is great!
