North of the City Casting Call
Casting: “North of the City”. Our lead actress, an officer for a large corporation is on her way to work one day when she is almost kidnapped and killed by 2 men. She escapes with the help of a stranger passing by. Together they must figure out who is trying to kill them, somehow expose the plot of why they are being hunted, while staying one step ahead of the killers.
Rehearsals are in April. There will be 8 -12 shoot days at the end of April and beginning of May. Locations will be in the city and in the trip-state area.
Payment will consist of a percentage of all VOD movie rentals (ie. iTunes, amazon…). Cast and crew will be partners and all revenue will be split between the team.
First step is to summit headshots and resume. Actresses with film and TV credits preferred. Doesn’t matter what size of the parts just as long as it can be verified via IMDB. Step 2 is live audition with producer and director.
The lead character is in her mid 40’s. She is slender and athletic. She studied martial arts from grammar school through high school (martial arts experience not necessary). This woman is smart and well educated. She is a successful businesswoman, who is friendly and personable. She is divorced with no kids, has many friends and family that she sees and communicates with regularly.
