Robert De Niro’s ‘The Comedian’ NYC Casting Call for a Jewish Wedding Scene

The Comedian‘ starring Robert De Niro is now casting extras for a Jewish wedding scene in New York City.

Robert De Niro’s The Comedian is now casting Caucasian men that are trained Cossack dancers to play a featured role in a Jewish wedding scene. Casting directors are also looking for twin babies to play the grandson of a principal character.

Filming will take place on March 2nd and 3rd in Queens, New York City.


About The Comedian:

Jennifer Aniston will star opposite Robert De Niro in the drama The Comedian. De Niro will play a Don Rickles-style stand-up comic who specializes in insults, with the script’s stand-up material written by Comedy Central Roast mainstay Jeffrey Ross. Aniston will play a woman who becomes close to the comic after meeting him at a wedding.

The Comedian Open Casting Call

New feature film, THE COMEDIAN, starring Robert DeNiro is seeking SAG/NON-UNION Older Caucasian Male (60+) Cossack Dancers to portray featured Uncle in a Jewish wedding scene.

Tentatively works March 2nd & 3rd (matching) in Queens, NY.

-your name
-union status (SAGAFTRA or non-union)
-confirm you are able to do the Cossack dance
-confirm availability for 3/2 AND 3/3
-recent, non-professional photos that show your current look
-short video showing your Cossack dancing abilities

Everyone must be 18 or older to work and have 2 valid forms of US issued ID.

Baby Casting Call

Seeking NON-UNION 9-12 month old Caucasian, Brunette Twin Babies to portray the grandson of a principal character.
Works March 2nd and March 3rd in Queens, NY.

Each child must have his/her own valid NY work permit (or parents should be willing to obtain them) and trust account.
Please note: for day of work, each child must have his/her own guardian present, as they will not both be on set at the same time.

-confirm children are non-union
-avail for 3/2 & 3/3

-please note if children have any previous on set experience
