Netflix’s new series The Get Down is now casting recurring roles in New York City.
Netflix is hard at work at producing new and original content. Now, Netflix casting directors in New York City are looking for new background actors to work on scenes filming in NYC this month.
Producers are looking for African American, hispanic party types to work on the new Baz Luhrmann Netflix series The Get Down. Talents that are selected will have a recurring role starting this January until March in New York City. Fittings are scheduled for Monday, January 11th through January 13th.
About Netflix’s The Get Down:
“The Get Down” centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excssive crime rate and corruption. According toVariety,“The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.
