A serial killer was finding victims to kill on social dating apps.
Mr. Stephen Port, a 40-year-old man from London, has been charged with murder! Mr. Port is accused of murdering four men, in their 20s, after meeting the men on gay dating apps such as Grindr.
Mr. Port is also accused on giving each man lethal doses of a drug by the name of GHB; GHB is a popular date rape drug.
The BBC had a breakdown that lists Porter’s possible victims:
- Anthony Patrick Walgate, 23, from Barnet, who was pronounced dead on Cooke Street on 19 June 2014.
- Gabriel Kovari, 22, from Lewisham, whose body was found near the churchyard of St Margaret’s Church, North Street, Barking, on 28 August 2014.
- Jack Taylor, 25, from Dagenham, whose body was found near the Abbey Ruins close to North Street on 14 September this year.
- Daniel Whitworth, 21, from Gravesend, Kent, whose body was also found near the same churchyard on 20 September 2014.
Post was seen at a hearing earlier last week. Post was not given bail. Standard also reported that one of Porter’s four known victims was said to have left a suicide note that blamed himself for a friend’s death.
