‘Independence Day 2’ casting call for extras to play military scientists in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
‘Independence Day 2‘ will be called ‘Independence Day Forever’ and will have two separate parts, Part 1 and Part 2. In addition, ‘Independence Day 2?director revealed he will take a modern filmmaking approach to the sequel instead of using special effects.
They take place 20 years after the original movie. After the first wave of aliens, a distress call was sent to bring more alien reinforcements to ravage the Earth, Entertainment Weekly reported. According to Emmerich, humanity is aware that the aliens will return. “And they know that the only way you can really travel in space is through wormholes. So for the aliens, it could take two or three weeks, but for us that’s 20 or 25 years,” he said.
On Location Casting is looking for actors to play military scientists on a scene filming on Monday, July 13th in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM Casting Notice – Feature Film “Independence Day 2” for work on TUESDAY 7/28/15 -AND- WEDNESDAY 7/29/15. **MUST BE AVAILABLE BOTH DATES – NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
We do not have wrap times so you would need to be fully 100% available on each work date. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $72.00 for 8 hours ($9.00/hour with a 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.

AREA 51 SCIENTISTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 25-50, clean-cut (NO facial hair!), conservative, fit and in good physical shape, athletic, 5’9″ or taller (men) and 5’3″ or taller (women). Men MUST be willing to let us give you a short military haircut. No overweight or “paunchy” types – must be in ‘fighting shape’
