‘Untitled Poetry Series’ Open Casting Call for Poets and Singers

Rogmar Media Group is now casting for talented poets, soulful singers, and bands, for “Untitled Poetry TV Series”. Filming in Memphis TN winter 2015.

Rogmar Media Group is now casting talent to work on a new pilot for an “Untitled Poetry TV Series” filming in Memphis TN.  Rogmar is seeking poets, soulful singers, and bands.  This pilot was inspired by many poetry TV series, but more specifically the critically acclaimed award winning HBO “Russell Simmons presents Def Poetry Jam” hosted by Mos Def.

The “Untitled Poetry TV Series” intend on bringing together spoken word and music much more live than it has ever been done before.

Please read casting call details below:

– Film Location – Memphis TN
– Date – Winter 2015 (specific date provided later)
– Poets ages 20 to 40
– Singers (i.e. Unsigned Soul, R&B, Blues & Pop with a soulful tone) ages (20 to 35)
– Band (all musical instruments is a plus) Unsigned new and emerging talent only.

Please state in the beginning of your audition tape with the following:

-Name
-Height
-Age
-Phone Number or Agency/Manager
-City where you currently reside
-Please include a full body shot (pan the camera from the top of your head to your feet and back up to your head).
-If you submit using a smart phone, please turn the camera horizontally.
-We will accept a YouTube or Vimeo link of a current or past performance.
-If you have a headshot and resume, please include it in your submission.
-Please submit no later than Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10pm EST.
-Please send all submissions to: casting@rogmarmedia.com
-The subject line of the email should be as follows: “Rogmar Poetry Series”: YOUR NAME (in all capital letters)
