Cinemax ‘The Knick’ Season 2 casting call for recurring roles in New York City.

The Knick centers around New York City in the 1900s, and the Knickerbocker Hospital. Dr. John Thackery, battles his cocaine and opium addictions with his ambition for medical discovery and his reputation among his peers. Dr. Algernon Edwards, must fight for respect within the all-white populated hospital, as well as the racially-charged city. While literally struggling to keep the lights on, the hospital attempts to attract a wealthy clientele, without sacrificing quality care.

Casting directors are looking for Chinese Thug Types to work on a scene filming throughout New York City starting February through May. Producers are looking for men with long hair and facial hair.

Seeking SAG-AFTRA/NON-UNION men to portray CHINESE THUG TYPES for the Cinemax series “The Knick”. Especially seeking men with long hair and facial hair. This takes place in the early 1900s. Fitting in January, works multiple TBD dates bet. Feb – May.
