No one is interested in working with Kanye West in a Comedy Movie
Kanye West wants to do a comedy feature film but nobody seems to be interested in work with the Hip Hop rapper. Rapper Kanye West is currently looking for a role in a “laugh out loud comedy”, according to reports.
Kanye West has said in that he was interested in working in the entertainment industry outside of music. Even last year he was able to land a small speaking role in Will Ferrell’s comedy sequel “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues“. But, now he wants to truly spread his wings and work on a comedy.
A source told the American edition of OK! magazine that “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy“, the 2004 original to that film, piqued West’s interest in comedy acting, and that “he’s told his agent to find him a role in a big comedy, but so far no one’s interested.”
It doesn’t help when people think you are a horrible actor. Kanye West recorded a short tape with Ferrell as part of an audition for a role in the 2008 movie, Semi–Pro. The role eventually went to another rapper, Andre 3000, but the tape is still floating around in Hollywood and the man is trying to sell says Kanye West’s acting is “terrible”.
