Katy Perry opens up about not learning enough when she was in school.
Pop Singer, Katy Perry admits that she regrets not taking her education more seriously while she was in school.
According to reports, while Katy Perry was promoting her new Make Roar Happen classroom initiative she revealed that she wished she had studied harder.
The singer explains that her lack of an education has her hurt career as a pop star.
“I was being pulled out of school even in the middle of school and sometimes being homeschooled. Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don’t-know-what-they-were schools. “I’m kind of bummed at this stage that I didn’t have a great education because I could really use that these days… I’ve learned to educate myself at this stage and how to continue my education at any age. I’m going on 30 and I’m still very thirsty for information.”
According to Wikipedia, Katy Perry has received many awards and nominations, and been included in the Forbes list of “Top-Earning Women In Music” for 2011, 2012, and 2013. Throughout her career, she has sold 11 million albums and 81 million singles worldwide, making her one of the best-selling artists of all time.Â
