Is it performance art or a frustrated talent? Shia Labeouf walks out of Berlin Film Festival Press Conference
Actor Shia LaBeouf recently visited the Berlin Film Festival and walked out of the press conference for the film ‘Nymphomaniac Volumem I” and then was seen wearing a paper bag over his head at the red carpet premiere.
The actor was seen posing for photogrpahers in a stylish tuxedo and a paper bag with eyeholes and the words “I am not famous anymore” written across it. LaBeouf recently used the quote frequently on his Twitter page, and it can easily be seen tattooed on his hand.
The unusual wardrobe came after the now notorious actor walked out of a press conference with his co-stars Uma Thurman and Christian Slater to promote Lars von Trier’s film, centering on a woman’s sexual progression from girlhood to middle age.
Shia LaBeouf’s exit came after a reporter asked if the actor’s were worried about the film’s sex scenes. LaBeouf responded “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.”
LaBeouf’s line was “borrowed” from the French soccer player, Eric Cantona, following his suspension for flying kick on a heckler.
LaBeouf has came under fire after borrowing dialogue and story line for his short film “Howard Cantour.com” which was simliar to the 2007 graphic novel by Daniel Clowes.
