The new HBO Pilot centers on the lives of athletes — some retired, some still active — living in Miami.
Rob Corddry and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are set to star in the upcoming HBO dramedy pilot Ballers, which will be executive produced by Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Steve Levinson. Rob Corddry will play “former all-pro running back Spencer's (Johnson) boss, a financial advisor who tries really hard to fit in and who is confident but clueless at interpreting social clues.”

All locations shoot in the Miami area.
Most shoot days are early morning call times into early evening (6am-6pm)
and can last 8 – 12 hours. Once you commit to the shoot you must be
available on set, ALL DAY, until the director wraps the shoot.
The pay rate for General Background Performers (Extras) for this project is:
$8.75/hr with 8 hour guaranteed pay ($70), even if less hours are worked.
Each hour worked beyond 8 is paid additional per hour.
