“Film Independent, Project Involve” is Now Accepting Applications for their 2014 Program

Project Involve is Film Independent’s signature diversity program that fosters the talents of emerging filmmakers.

The program offers its selected Fellows a one-on-one mentorship, monthly filmmaking workshops for continued education, a short film production experience, and community screenings that promote diverse subject matters.

Film Independent, Project Involve: is dedicated to increasing cultural diversity in the film industry by cultivating the careers of under-represented filmmakers.The program, which runs from October through June, offers a combination of one-on-one mentorships, filmmaking workshops, community screenings, and job placement. Additionally, Project: Involve Fellows receive a complimentary one-year membership to Film Independent.

Mailing Instructions

If you are mailing a check payment please make your check payable to Film Independent and send along with your DVD work sample (if applicable) to:

You must write your NAME, PROJECT TITLE, and APPLICATION ID# on your physical check and DVD (not the mailing envelope).
