With negotiations reaching their climax, Adam Driver is reportedly on the verge of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Rumors are mounting that Adam Driver is in the process of cementing a part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Adam Driver is expected to take center stage in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s highly-anticipated Fantastic Four reboot. Word first came out late last year that Driver was being considered for either the role of Mr. Fantastic or Doctor Doom.
Industry insider Daniel Richtman has revealed that Driver is in the closing stages of negotiations with Marvel Studios to assume the role of Reed Richards. Rumors have been swirling about his potential inclusion in the MCU for months. January saw Driver emerge as the front-runner to play Reed Richards in the reboot, with insiders citing him as the “top casting choice.” Even though the reboot is still years off, early progress suggests that fans will be able to enjoy the film on time.
After multiple hiccups, production of the reboot is now slated to commence in early 2024. Matt Shakman, the talented director behind WandaVision, is set to take on this new project with Josh Friedman, scribe of Avatar: The Way of Water writing its script. Although no other casting news has been officially announced, rumors have circulated that Austin Butler may be set to star as Johnny Storm. Similarly, there is a buzz about Rachel Brosnahan or Jodie Comer taking on the role of Sue Storm.
Get ready – the Fantastic Four reboot is set to launch in theaters on February 14, 2025!
