John Coker Jr

John Russell Coker is an aspiring actor and model currently building his career experience and portfolio. Most recently, he can be found as the back book cover model for the character “Chief” in the 2021 Romance novel series DOC: Book 10 of the Steel MC Montana Charter by Author Michel Prince. He has also entertained audiences by starring in the beginning scene of the 2021 Applebee’s commercial featuring Country artist Walker Hayes’ song “Fancy Like.” John has also been casted in a few small film roles. He played the role of a baby shower guest in the 2021 film Land of Gold which won the Grand Prize at the 2021 Tribeca/ AT&T Untold Stories pitch competition and will make its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022 and will be distributed by Warner Brothers and HBO Max. He also played the role of a mover in the 2022 upcoming film The Line. While the roles John has been casted for have been small, beginner roles, John strives for persistence in his future career, continually auditioning for future television and film roles. In continuing to broaden his acting career, John is taking classes beginning in March 2022 at The Actor Factory in Norman, OK to help gain the skillset to further his career to become a mainstream actor. John received his B.Ed. from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. While pursuing his degree he played two years minor league baseball. John is also a retired US Army Sergeant with the 45th Infantry. In 2019, John first joined the social media app Tik Tok, to pass time by making amateur videos. It quickly turned into a networking advantage for him, joining in on the meet and greet of creators at various cities across the country. Being the extrovert he is, John quickly grew a large audience of over 750,000 followers who enjoy his inspirational and influential as well as some steamy videos for the ladies (or men). His goal is to push others beyond their limits and show them that it is acceptable to step out of their comfort zone and to not be afraid to put yourself out there and be vulnerable. Due to a recent career change and having the allotted time now available, John is looking forward to devoting his time and energy fully into acting. The new skills he has gained and his continuing education in acting will prepare him for a new and exciting chapter in his professional life.
