Casting directors are now casting actors to work on scenes filmed in Chicago, Illinois. Producers are looking for the following talent: 

  • Actors 
    • 1. Person who is Blind or Low Vision w/ Service Dog 
    • 2. Person who uses a wheelchair when traveling or full time
    • 3. Person who is Deaf or extremely hard of hearing and have ASL fluency

Casting for a super inclusive shoot with a focus on accessibility at local airports:

Looking for the following talent for a PAID shoot ($1500!) that is happening early next week.  Please email me ASAP, just send a couple of photos and any details that are pertinent to better understanding your needs traveling to set AND on set,  if you are booked. 

  1. Person who is Blind or Low Vision w/ Service Dog

Acting Tips

  1. Start by taking acting classes. This will help you understand the basics of performing and give you a solid foundation for building your skills.
  2. Watch good actors perform. Study their technique and try to learn from them.
  3. Develop your style. Don’t try to imitate other performers, but find your way of doing things.
  4. Be well prepared. Learn your lines and familiarize yourself with the script before you start performing.
  5. Relax and be natural. Don’t try to force things, but let your performance flow naturally.
  6. Be confident. Believe in yourself and your abilities, and don’t let self-doubt ruin your performance.
  7. Be flexible. Be willing to try new things and experiment with different approaches.
  1. Persevere. Acting is tricky, and you will face rejection and disappointment at times. But if you keep working at it, you will eventually find success.
