‘Insecure's Sujata Day Is In The Process Of Writing A New ‘American Pie' Film.
According to reports, a new American Pie film is in the works and written by Sujata Day of Insecure renown. According to Deadline, the next installment in the American Pie franchise will be produced by Universal 1440 Entertainment. Following, the latest film in the American Pie series came from Universal 1440 Entertainment, a “fresh take” on raunchy comedy films was announced ten years after American Reunion was released.

Debuting in 1999, American Pie starring Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Sean William Scott, and more, served to introduce the franchise that helped define a genre of films in the late '90s and early 2000s.
