The Goldfinch starring Sarah Paulson is now casting middle school students in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Thursday, January 11th through January 17th in New York City.
Producers are looking for the following types:
- SAG-AFTRA/NONUNION kids ages 11-14 to portray MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS. Works Tuesday 1/23 in NYC area with a fitting between Thursday 1/11 – Wednesday 1/17.
About The Goldfinch:
The acclaimed book by Donna Tartt is being adapted by Warner Bros. and Amazon Studios with Ansel Elgort (Baby Driver) on board to play Theo, Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk) to play Boris, and with John Crowley directing. The Goldfinch tells the story of Theodore Decker who, after surviving a terrorist bombing at an art museum, with his mother being killed, goes on an adventure that sees him involved in art forgeries and living with his deadbeat father in Las Vegas.

GWCI is seeking the following for upcoming feature film THE GOLDFINCH, based on the best-selling novel by Donna Tartt:
SAG-AFTRA/NONUNION kids ages 11-14 to portray MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS. Works Tuesday 1/23 in NYC area with a fitting between Thursday 1/11 – Wednesday 1/17.

– Parents Name
– Child(ren)’s name
– Phone Number
– Your child’s union status (SAG-AFTRA or non-union).
– Quick non-professional photos to show your child’s current look in what your child would wear going to school! Please make sure the photos are CLEAR and in good lighting!
– Your child’s current age
– Confirm if your child has a valid trust account and work permit set up
– Fully avail (or NOT avail) Tuesday 1/23
– Availability between 1/11-1/17 for wardrobe fitting (Please note availability for all dates)
