Blade Runner sequel featuring Ryan Gosling suffers horrific on-set accident killing a construction worker.
A film set can be a magical place. It is where dreams come true. However, it can also be a dangerous place, where people sometimes die.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a construction worker was killed on set of the upcoming Blade Runner sequel.
“The worker was underneath a platform, upon which the set was constructed, when it suddenly collapsed,” read a statement sent to The Hollywood Reporter by Origo Studios. “The cause of the accident is not yet known.”
Blade Runner features Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Jared Leto and Robin Wright. Directed by Denis Villeneuve and produced by Ridley Scott, written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. It is the sequel to Blade Runner and sees Harrison Ford reprise his role as Rick Deckard.
