Netflix new series ‘The Get Down’ is looking for business types in New York City.

Netflix is now casting business types to appear in the new TV series The Get Down filming in New York City. Fitting will take place on Monday, November 9th and Filming will take place on Friday, November 13th.

The Get Down centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excssive crime rate and corruption. According toVariety,“The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.

Seeking NON UNION Caucasian Men 25-55 to portray 1970s Business Types for the Netflix Series The Get Down Directed by Baz Lurrhman. Fitting Monday 11/9, Shoot Date Friday 11/13.

**This is a very specific look for the 1970s time period! Everyone must have appropriate hair length. ALL men must be ok with altering/cutting their hair AND facial hair to match the time period!**
