“My All American” movie posted a casting call seeking extras to appear in the movie filming in San Antonio, Texas.

My All American centers on the life of formerUniversity of Texas football player Freddie Steinmark and the National Championship Texas team of 1969. The movie is directed by Angelo Pizzo, writer and producer of Rudy and Hoosiers.

Aaron Eckhart is cast as Royal and Wittrock will play Steinmark, a Texas football legend on the Longhorns’ 1969 national title team who’s career was cut short by cancer.

Casting directors are looking for men and women of all ethnicities for several scenes in the movie.

My All American–
SEEKING MEN AND WOMEN AGES 18+ THAT ARE PRIMARILY CAUCASIAN FOR 6/24, 6/25, 6/26, 6/27, 6/28, 6/30, 7/1, 7/2 and 7/3 FOR FOOTBALL SCENES IN SAN ANTIONIO

MY ALL AMERICAN, written and directed by Angelo Pizzo, (writer/producer of Rudy and Hoosiers) and starring, Aaron Eckhart as Coach Darrell Royal, chronicles the life of former University of Texas football player Freddie Steinmark and the National Championship Texas team of 1969.

Seeking: Athletic men to portray college football players, fans of all ages, coaches, newspaper men, student trainers, police officers & more!

Filming Dates: Tuesday, June 24th through Saturday, June 28th; Monday, June 30 through Thursday, July 3rd. You can work ALL the days OR a combination of days OR just one day.

Time: Call times vary from day to day. We receive the call time the night before so consequently we ask you to be completely available and flexible the day(s) you work. These will be day shoots. Estimated time is 7am-7pm daily.

Location: 6/24-6/28 and 6/30-7/1 in San Antonio, TX at the Alamo dome (will be covered and air conditioned!) and 7/2 and 7/3 in San Antonio, TX at Dragon Stadium.

Pay Rate: $58 just for showing up. Time and a half after 8 hours. Expect to work 8-12 hours. (12 hours would pay $101.50) FOOD AND SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED.

IMPORTANT: Must also be a Texas Resident with a valid ID. If portraying a football player you must not be currently playing high school or college football and/or be planning to in the future.
