“The Intern” Starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro Open Casting Call

Warner Bros. “The Intern” starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro posted an open casting call in New York City.

“The Intern” is directed by Nancy Meyers and the story would center on Anne Hathaway starring as the founder of a successful company who, as part of a new program, takes in a senior citizen (De Niro) to be her intern.

The Warner Bros. movie is written by Nancy Meyers. She is a writer and producer, known for The Holiday (2006), Something’s Gotta Give (2003) and It’s Complicated (2009). Meyers also directed the critically acclaimed movie, “The Parent Trap”. Casting for the rest of the roles is currently underway and the movie is scheduled to begin production this year.

Billy Dowd Casting is currently seeking SAG-AFTRA union members and Non-Union for the upcoming feature film. There are two open casting calls. The first open casting call scheduled for Friday, May 30th is for Union members only and another open casting call set for Saturday, May 31st, according to reports.

BILLY DOWD CASTING is holding a SAG-AFTRA open casting call for members. Seeking all ages, types and ethnicities interested in background work on Warner Brother’s feature film, THE INTERN.
DATE: Friday, May 30, 2014

Non-Union Open Casting Call

Billy Dowd Casting is seeking NON UNION women and men, ages 18-35 interested in working as background actors/extras for the WARNER BROTHER’S feature film THE INTERN filming in NYC this summer.
We are looking for hip, fashionable people, the type who might work at an online start-up company. Work on the film could be anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks.
A casting call will be held on Saturday May 31st from 8AM-5PM at the Chapel of The Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary 325 E. 33rd St. (btw 1st & 2nd Av).
Please bring recent photos (head shot and full length shot-non returnable) and a pen.
