Casting directors and producers are now casting talent to work in the movie “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl”.
“Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” is based on the young adult novel by Jesse Andrews about an high school student in Pittsburgh forced by his mother to be friends with a girl struggling with leukemia.
“Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” will star Thomas Mann (Project X, Hansel & Gretel:Witch Hunter, Beautiful Creatures) and Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel,The Quiet Ones).
“Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” will shoot in the Pittsburgh for five weeks starting in Mid-June.
Casting directors are looking for actors ages 17-25 years of age to play high school students. Must be willing to work as Pittsburgh locals.
This is a SAG (Screen Actor’s Guild) film and all actors will be paid union scale which is currently $859 (daily) or $2979 (weekly) depending on the number of days a certain character works.
