Casting Call: Real Croupier for Film Production
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced croupier with real roulette table expertise for an upcoming film production. The candidate will be responsible for performing croupier duties as part of filmed casino scenes, ensuring authenticity and a realistic gaming experience on set.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the roulette table during filming, conducting games and managing the gaming area as would be expected in a real casino setting.
- Work closely with the film director and crew to ensure each scene’s gaming elements are realistically portrayed.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the gaming area as needed for shooting requirements.
- Adhere to all on-set protocols and directions from the filming staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a croupier, specifically with roulette.
- Strong understanding of casino operations and gaming rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with a film crew.
- Ability to follow precise directions and adapt quickly to changes in shooting schedules.
- Professionalism and a strong work ethic are a must.
Compensation:
- $218 per 8-hour workday, as per SAG/AFTRA special ability rate.
- Overtime compensation available for any work exceeding 8 hours per day.
