“Space Jam 2” is now casting speaking roles – here’s what you need to know.
If you’re interested in joining the Looney Tunes crew following their 1996 “Space Jam” hit movie, a sequel is coming soon for Warner Bros. The entertainment industry has a long history of making sequels and rebooting hit movies. This has worked time and time again. Case in point, Jumanji spinoff, “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” was a box office monster and producers are now filming the sequel in Atlanta, Georgia.
Now, production for the upcoming “Space Jam” sequel is heating up with casting directors now holding auditions for roles in the new movie.
The original movie featured NBA legend Michael Jordan teaming up with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. The new movie will feature LeBron James on the court with the Looney Tunes crew.
Plot details have not been released, but it would not be surprised if the sequel shares similarities with the original. It is speculated the film will center around a young boy who is desperate to connect with his father, a famous basketball player. James is currently the only person attached to the movie at this time.
