Original Content Production Internship, LA – ESPN – Summer 2017
A Day in the Life:
- Developing and pitching new segments for the family of Original Content shows in LA (SportsNation, Jalen & Jacoby, The Jump, NBA Countdown)
- Assisting in the organization and coordination of special projects and remotes
- Cuts show elements, such as video b-roll, highlights, teases; selects material for bumps and roll-outs
- Operates studio teleprompter system
- Provides timely, accurate and complete delivery of multimedia elements and publishes to various platforms
ABC Entertainment Current Programming Internship (DATG) CA-Summer 2017
This internship provides a first-hand look at how the Current Programming department guides all current scripted series from the time the show is picked up through the entire run of the series. The Current department works closely with the writers and producers of each show, as well as the studios that produce them. Current also functions as the liaison and champion for ABC’s current shows as we collaborate with other departments across the network, from Marketing to Scheduling to Business Standards & Practices (to name just a few).
