$1400 Revolutionary Museum Acting Auditions Casting Call

Arvold Casting is searching for actors for a Cortina Productions museum film.

Cortina Productions is working with the Yorktown Victory Center to produce a film related to story and legacy of the Revolutionary War. The Yorktown Victory Center is in transition and will become the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown in late 2016. This film will play an important role in allowing visitors to discover the complete story of the Revolution: Britain and the American colonies before the Revolution, events leading up to the war, battles and people of the American Revolution and building a new nation post war.

Seeking:

THE STORYTELLER: 30-50 years old, Caucasian Male. The Storyteller is the consummate showman, enthralling the audience through his captivating delivery and knack for the theatrical. He has a charisma that draws the audience into his stories. $700/day, 2 days.

ISABELLA FURGUSON: Early to mid 20s, Caucasian Female. Irish accent, fair complexion. Gifted at reading and writing, Isabella immigrated to America in 1773. She’s not afraid to stand up for her beliefs, even if it means losing her husband. $400/day, 1 day. AUTHENTIC IRISH ACCENT REQUIRED

COL. JAMES FURGUSON: 30s, Caucasian Male. With a commanding appearance, he leads nearly 150 Loyalist troops, but is no match for his sister-in-law Isabella. $400/day, 1 day.

BILLY FLORA: Early 20s, African American Male. Free born, Billy Flora was an apprentice to a carter and wagon master and later opened up his own business. His brave actions at the Battle of Great Bridge make him a celebrated hero. $400/day, 1 day.

PETER HARRIS: 20s, Native American. Left an orphan when his parents die of smallpox, Peter is adopted and raised by a white settler. Peter enlists as a soldier in the South Carolina Continental Line and is wounded in battle. $400/day, 1 day.

FARM HAND: 18 to mid 20s, Caucasian Male. Practical and intelligent, this confident youth realizes that achieving liberty and equality will take hard work. $250/day, 1 day.

JOHN HOWLAND: 20s, Caucasian Male. Gaunt from the deprivations faced while a soldier in the Continental Line, John Howland loyally serves with George Washington in 1777. $250/day, 1 day.

GEORGE HEWES: Mid to late 20s, Caucasian Male. Short in stature and of lower class economically, George Hewes struggles throughout life to make a living. He is well documented at being present at historically important events. $250/day, 1 day.

SAMUEL FURGUSON: Early to mid 20s, Caucasian Male. The black sheep of the family and not highly gifted in mental endeavors, the smartest thing he ever did was marry a strong, intelligent woman. $200/day, 1 day.
