This horror parody is set to combine elements of comedy and horror, delivering a unique and captivating cinematic experience.

The “Sound of Fear” filming is scheduled for July 20th and 21st, 2023, in Providence, RI. While talent availability may play a role in the final scheduling, these dates provide an excellent opportunity for actors to showcase their skills and contribute to the production’s success. Each selected actor will receive a competitive salary of $250 per day of filming.

Casting Roles:

Sara (she/her) – Open Ethnicity, mid-20s: Are you a natural-born Scream Queen? We’re seeking a talented actor to bring Sara’s character to life. With physically expressive, non-verbal acting skills, Sara must navigate the story’s horrors while assuming the worst-case scenario. Experience in both comedy and horror genres is preferred. This role requires availability for two days of filming.

Lisa (she/her) – Open Ethnicity, late 20s: Are you ready to embrace your feminine essence and portray a horror movie victim? Lisa’s character exudes charm but is perpetually scared. We’re seeking an actor who can embody her ditsy yet endearing personality. This role requires availability for one day of filming, with the exact date to be determined.

Submissions for “Sound of Fear” are open to both SAG and Non-Union talent. If you’re a local actor in Providence, RI, or can work locally during the filming dates, this is your opportunity to showcase your skills in front of the camera. Kendall Cooper Casting is seeking submissions for the short film SOUND OF FEAR.

SOUND OF FEAR: Two friends in their 20s are haunted by a film score in this horror parody. 

FILMING DATES: July 20th & 21st, 2023 (TBC talent availability may play a role in the final scheduling)

SALARY: $250/day

Submissions are welcome from SAG and Non-Union Talent!

CASTING FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
