If you are a Vietnamese or Chinese talent looking to break into the acting industry or have experience in acting, we have a fantastic opportunity for you! A new Doc for a major streaming platform is casting talent for reenactments in a True Crime story.

All roles are non-speaking and require no previous acting experience. All you need is to be an Ontario resident paying 2022 taxes in Ontario. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a high-profile and potentially kickstart your acting career.

The casting call seeks three leading roles, Jennifer, Bich, and Hann, who will be featured in the reenactments. Jennifer, a female in her 20s of Vietnamese or Chinese background, has a thin build and long black hair. Bich, a female in her 50s, of Vietnamese or Chinese experience, is of average to plus size build and has shoulder-length dark hair. Last but not least, Hann, a male in his 50s of Vietnamese or Chinese background, has a thin to average build. Background talent is also required, aged 8-70 years old, of Vietnamese or Chinese experience.

The shoot will occur from May 15th to May 19th in the Greater Toronto Area. The actor rate is $400 per day, and the background rate is $190 per day, payable to talent only.

A new Doc Feature for a major streaming platform is casting Vietnamese and Chinese talent for reenactments. All roles are SOC. Previous acting experience not required. Non Union. All talent MUST be an Ontario resident, paying 2022 taxes in Ontario.

TITLE: Deadly Deceit

DATES: May 15-19.

LOCATION: GTA

RATE: $400/Day for actor roles. $190 for Background

NON UNION

ROLES:

  • JENNIFER: 20's Female. Vietnamese / Chinese background. Thin build. Long Black hair. (Likely 3-5 days)
  • BICH: 50's Female. Vietnamese / Chinese background. Average to plus size build. Shoulder length dark hair. (Likely filming 1-3 days)
  • HANN: 50's Male Vietnamese / Chinese background. Thin to average build. (Likely filming 1-3 days)
