Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Casting Call – PSA commercial casting call for trained swimmers in Philadelphia.
Heery Casting is currently casting for a compulsive gambling PSA and casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to work on the PSA. Auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, November 12th in Philadelphia. Producers are looking for someone that has experience swimming or is a good swimmer.

PSA Commercial Casting Call
Heery Casting is casting for a compulsive gambling PSA, and we need a VERY SPECIFIC GUY for this.Non-union, pay: $800. Auditions tomorrow, Wednesday, 11/12; callback 11/13, shoots Nov. 19, 20 or 21- all in the PHILADELPHIA AREA.
here’s the details: we need a Caucasian male, age 25-30, Medium build, Fit but not too muscular and not too thin. Shorter than usual height-5’2 to 5’6″/Normal adult proportions. No facial hair. Minimal body hair.
MUST BE A GOOD SWIMMER AND COMFORTABLE AROUND AND IN WATER. PREFERABLY THEY HAVE AN AFFINITY FOR WATER AND HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE SCUBA DIVING OR IN WATER SPORTS WHERE THEY ARE TOTALLY UNDERWATER. EXPERIENCE AS A LIFE GUARD WOULD BE HELPFUL. SCUBA certified divers and Stuntpersons with experience in water are strongly preferred. Any SCUBA certifications/dive logs they can show will help. They will be required to prove ability to work in these conditions at the callback because they will be subject to those conditions during the callback.
Unusual filming conditions
We will be working in a local studio. We will place them in a very small 2′ W x 2′ L x 6′ tall glass chamber. It will be filled with water (of varying height) and they will be acting as if they are drowning in it. We will have one or two shots where the water will be over their head for a few seconds.
We will have all safety precautions in place, but need to cast someone who can act panicked but not really be panicked in such a space which would be filling with water.
