Netflix is now hiring stand-ins to work on an episode of the new TV series The Get Down now filming in New York City.
Casting directors are looking for a photo double for actor Giancarlo Esposito. Filming will take place between November 19th through December 4th, plus additional work throughout the season. In addition, casting directors are looking for extras to play political rally members in an upcoming scene.
“The Get Down” centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excssive crime rate and corruption. According toVariety,“The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.

Seeking SAG-AFTRA/NU Male 5’8-5’10 to photo double for Giancarlo Esposito for the new Netflix Series “The Get Down”. Hair should be at least an inch or two in length. Works sometime between 11/19-12/4, possible additional work throughout the season.
