AMC’s ‘Turn’ Season 3 Episode 1 Speaking Roles Casting Call

Arvold Casting is now casting speaking roles for the upcoming third season of AMC’s TURN:Washington’s Spies.

AMC’s television series TURN: WASHINGTON’S SPIES is filming in the Central Virginia area, and Arvold Casting is seeking actors who look authentically from the Revolutionary War period for speaking roles. TURN is adapted from the nonfiction book Washington’s Spies by Alexander Rose. The story is centered on a band of young soldiers and civilians who were part of the secret spy ring during the Revolutionary War.

Casting directors are now casting the following roles:

turn-on-amc[NATHAN HALE] Male, 20s, Caucasian. An extremely handsome soldier. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations.

[JOSIAH GOODRICH] Male, 30s – 50s, Caucasian. A short, tidy fireplug of a man.  His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations.  STUNT EXPERIENCE A PLUS.

[HIRAM DEARBORN] Male, 30s – 50s, Caucasian. A well-dressed Philadelphia merchant with an extreme character face. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations.

[FULTON CRANE] Male, 30s – 50s, Caucasian.  A successful merchant in Philadelphia; barrel-chested and red-cheeked. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations.

[PROVOST MARSHAL] Male, Mid 30s – 50s, Caucasian. A Continental soldier who reads aloud charges against disloyal or unlawful soldiers.  His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations.

[PHILADELPHIA BOY] Male, 11 – 14, Caucasian. A boy who plays with his friends on the streets of Philadelphia. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations.

[DRIVER] Male, 20s – 30s, Caucasian. Drives an open-top carriage through the bustling streets of Philadelphia. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. ABILITY TO DRIVE A HISTORICAL CARRIAGE A PLUS.

Filming will take place between November 2nd through November 11th in Charlottesville, Virginia.
