God’s Not Dead 3 is now casting speaking roles in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The third movie in the God’s Not Dead series will begin shooting next month in Little Rock, Arkansas and casting directors announced this week they are hoping to find actors to play various roles during an open casting call this week.
Actors between the ages of 18 and 65 who could portray college students, lawyers, security guards, pastors or executive types can audition for roles during the call Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5 Shackleford Drive.
Actors must have some previous experience in film, TV or theater and should bring a headshot and resume, the film’s casting director said in a news release.
Roles in the film listed on the casting company’s website include:
[SYDNEY] FEMALE, 20-21 yrs. old, CAUCASIAN. Sydney is a friend to Keaton (her roommate), Adam, and Mateo. Feisty, but also good- natured. She’s smart, loyal, and supportive of Mateo’s endeavors in activism. More extroverted than Keaton. She’s interested in the religious vs. non-religious debate, and definitely sides with Mateo in her criticism of organized religion and the church. SUPPORTING
[THOMAS ELLSWORTH] MALE, 50-55 yrs. old, CAUCASIAN. The president of Hadleigh University, Thomas is stately and polished, if not a bit physically imposing. He’s comfortable in his own skin as the face of the university with all of the best qualities of an effective politician. A long-time friend of Dave’s, he maintains a friendly, affable approachability despite his lofty status. SUPPORTING
[GOVERNOR ROSS] MALE, 62-68 yrs. old, ANY ETHNICITY. He is charming and focused, traits he has used to great benefit during his career in politics. He has a moral compass, but it is sometimes trumped by public perception. SUPPORTING

Retired CEO of a management consulting company and philanthropist. Intelligent, methodical, articulate. One of the few women in the US to sit Chair at the university level, she takes her position seriously. The third film in the series will begin shooting in Arkansas’ capital city on Oct. 7, and filming will continue for 5 weeks, the release said.
