For the supporting role of Mi Yung, the festival organizers are looking for a Korean woman in her 20s. Mi Yung is upset about a hate crime against her grandmother. This role requires an actor who can portray various emotions, from anger to sadness and grief.

Finally, there is the role of a Korean woman in her 70s who speaks Korean and broken English. She is a victim of a racist attack in a subway. This supporting role requires an actor who can convey the vulnerability of a woman who has been targeted because of her race.

  • Young Adults- 18-24, any ethnicity or gender to play role standing from high school seniors to college students. Both comedy and drama. LEAD AND SUPPORTING ROLES
  • Aduls- 35-50s, any ethnicity or gender. Both comedy and drama. LEAD AND SUPPORTING ROLES
  • Fei- 50s, Chinese, Female presenting. A grieving mother dealing with the death of her son. She speaks broken Englis. LEAD
  • Kyung Mi- 40s-50s, Korean, Female presenting. A hard working mother and owner of a spa who has an encounter with a racist costumer. LEAD
  • Mi Yung- 20s, Korean, female presenting. A young woman upset about a hate crime that tok place against her grandmother. SUPPORTING
  • Korean Woman- 70s, Korean, female presenting. Speaks korean and broken English. Victim of a racist attack in a subway. SUPPORTING.
