Toronto tourism campaign open casting call: Showcasing unique skills and talents in Toronto, CA.
Are you a Toronto local with unique skills or hobbies? If so, this casting call may be perfect for you! A major non-union commercial seeks individuals with particular skills or experience in various fields to showcase Toronto’s diverse culture and talent.
The casting agency accepts auditions by self-tape and calls back on May 9th or 10th, 2023. Successful candidates will be required for one day between May 24-27, 2023, and will receive an attractive $500 per session, $75 for wardrobe, and a $1000 buyout.
Specific roles for each type of talent are required, ranging from dance, basketball, soccer, hockey, visual arts, music, and culinary/knife skills to musical instruments, biking, and more. Toronto locals only need to apply, and the casting agency requests that you mention your experience in your respective field to strengthen your application further.
Roles are available for diverse age groups, genders, and ethnicities. Seeking those with dance experience, including breakdancers, hip hop, ballet, modern dancers, and individuals who can play basketball, soccer, and hockey. Chefs, painters, sculptors, graffiti artists, drummers, jazz players, horn players, guitarists, and BMX bikers are also in high demand.

- [DANCERS] 18 to 30 years old, all ethnicities, any gender. Seeking those with experience as breakdancers, or in hip hop, ballet, & modern. SOC
- [BASKETBALL PLAYERS] 18 to 35 years old, all ethnicities any gender. Seeking those with the ability to play basketball/ with basketball experience. SOC
- [SOCCER PLAYERS] 18 to 35 years old, all ethnicities any gender. Seeking those with the ability to play soccer/ with soccer experience. SOC
- [HOCKEY PLAYERS] 18 to 35 years old, all ethnicities any gender. Seeking those with the ability to play hockey/ with hockey experience. SOC
- [CHEFS] 30 to 50 years old, all ethnicities any gender. Cool look, style, flavour, etc. Seeking those with a passion in the kitchen who know how to slice and dice. SOC
- [ARTISTS] 25 to 55 years old, all ethnicities any gender. Seeking those with experience/ skills in the visual arts; painters, graffiti artists, sculptors, etc. SOC
- [MUSICIANS] 25 to 50 years old, all ethnicities any gender. Please note if talent has any experience as a drummer, jazz player, with horns, or guitar. Seeking those with the ability to play/show themselves playing any of these instruments. Looking for visual players, people who bring flavour to their music, who are visual in how they play and how they look. Look and sound cool. SOC
