For this groundbreaking project, the casting team is searching for a range of roles that reflect the authenticity of these cultural celebrations:
- Adults from Punjabi State, India (45-70 years old): If you’re from Punjabi and deeply connected with Diwali festivities, this is your chance to shine. Even if you’re from other regions of India but hold Diwali close to your heart, the casting call welcomes you to audition.
- 25-35-year-old Female from the Punjabi State, India: This role requires a young woman who resonates with the essence of Diwali celebrations.
- Adults from Morocco (45-70 years old): If you observe Ramadan in Morocco, I would like to ask you to please participate.
- 20-30 year old Male from Morocco: Young men who embrace Ramadan are invited to audition for this role.
The casting director is keenly interested in individuals who authentically embody these cultural celebrations, ensuring the commercial resonates deeply with viewers.
Selected individuals will not only be part of a groundbreaking project but will also be fairly compensated for their contributions. Compensation details will be discussed during the casting process, providing transparency and fairness to all involved.
Auditions will be held in Vancouver on Thursday, August 24th, 2023. For those who move forward, callbacks are scheduled for August 29th and August 30th. Each audition and callback session is anticipated to take around 30 minutes, ensuring a streamlined process.
Selected participants will undergo a wardrobe fitting on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, a crucial step in bringing the authentic visuals of these celebrations to life.
Filming will take place in the picturesque city of Vancouver, capturing the essence of Diwali and Ramadan. The filming dates are set from September 13th to September 15th. All chosen participants must be available throughout these dates to ensure the project’s success.

Job Responsibilities: Selected individuals will portray characters celebrating critical cultural festivals and observances. The commercial aims to authentically represent the Diwali celebration in the Punjabi state of India and the Ramadan observance in Morocco. Actors will participate in a lively and heartwarming portrayal of these cultural moments.
Requirements: We are looking for the following roles:
- Adults (45-70 years old) from the Punjabi state in India who celebrate Diwali. Individuals from other regions of India are also welcome to audition but must specify their part.
- A 25-35-year-old Female from the Punjabi state in India who celebrates Diwali.
- Adults (45-70 years old) from Morocco who observe Ramadan.
- A 20-30 year old Male from Morocco who observes Ramadan.
The director is particularly interested in authentic individuals who embody cultural celebrations.
Compensation: All selected talent will be compensated for their participation. Rates will be discussed during the casting process.
