  • Jigsaw Casting is seeking Newborns with their Parents and Grandparent(s) for a Huggies in Toronto
  • Newborn babies who are born AFTER March 15, 2020 with their Parents and Grandparents. All babies must be legally over 15 days old by the shoot date of July 24. Open to just one Grandparent if both are not available.

Jigsaw Casting is seeking Newborns with their Parents and Grandparent(s) for a Huggies Campaign in Toronto!

This spot will reflect the diversity of Canada. Looking for real families who just had a recently or within the last 3 months. Production and talent to follow all COVID SAFETY ON SET PROTOCOL. Please see details here.

We are looking for families who fit the following criteria:
Newborn babies who are born AFTER March 15, 2020 with their Parents and Grandparents. All babies must be legally over 15 days old by shoot date of July 24. Open to just one Grandparent if both are not available.

PAY is approx $5,000 per . With additional $3K to cover the use of your home as the location, as well as the items mentioned in *Note 1. This is a union campaign, non union members/real families with newborns are encouraged to apply. No previous acting experience is required. Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.

*NOTE 1: Ideally, we are looking for Families who are comfortable having our crew come and film you at your home. (Small crew 3-4 max and will follow all COVID 19 safety filming guidelines) We will be expecting you to capture some content on a provided iPhone or camera prior to the shoot day. On the actual shoot day, if we cannot film inside your home, then the family can film on a camera we supply and we will direct you remotely.

**NOTE 2: Mom should be comfortable to show skin to skin contact with the baby. There are of course some potential workarounds (like including a blanket) but it is very important to see the skin to skin touch with mum and baby.

If interested, please submit a self tape via our casting crane online form. For this, ONLY Parents and baby are required. (Grandparents are not required for this self tape). Here are the Instructions:

1. Introduce yourselves, please tell us the date of birth of your newborn.

2. Have parents take turns in answering the following questions. With each one, we are not only interested in the details but also in the emotion. How did it feel?
A) What was it like having a baby during a global pandemic?
B) What was it like bringing your baby home? – what was joyful and what was difficult?
C) Have your parents met your baby, yet? If so, tell us about when/how your parents met your baby? How did you/they feel?

3. Please make sure to keep your self tape short, ideally under 3 minutes long, you can use your cell phone for filming. Once you have filmed this, you can apply online

To be considered for this campaign. You must be available for the following dates:
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: TUESDAY JULY 7, 2020 AT 9AM. The earlier you apply the better!
ONLINE INTERVIEW WITH DIRECTOR: ASAP or Sometime between now until July 8, 2020. TBD. (Parents, baby and Grandparents must all be present for the interview)
TECHNICAL REHEARSAL: July 20, 2020
POTENTIAL WARDROBE DAY: July 22, 2020
SHOOT: July 24, 2020.
